Nematode Sprayer

Former name: Green Earth Nematode Sprayer

You can buy our pest killing nematodes (all natural and very effective), but you need the right sprayer to apply them properly. This reusable sprayer comes with a bottle that is intended to contain the nematodes (usually mixed with water) and an attachment that you can connect to a hose so you can spray the nematodes on your lawn and garden, leading to the control of many grubs and insects.

How to use

In general, use sprayer when target pests are active. Best applied when lawn is wet. Time applications around rainy periods or water lawn prior to application.

Step 1
Remove sprayer lid.

Step 2
Open plastic bag and place unopened pouches into sprayer bottle. To avoid clogging the sprayer, do not tear or open the pouches when placing into the sprayer bottle.

Step 3
Activate nematodes by adding about 2.5 cm (1 in) of warm water in the sprayer. Activated nematodes are sufficiently small so that they will pass through the mesh of the pouches.

Step 4
Add room temperature water to fill line.

Step 5
Fasten lid securely and shake vigorously to evenly disperse nematodes.

Step 6
Attach garden hose to sprayer and turn valve to “Mix” position to begin spraying.

Step 7
Start spraying in most affected area of lawn first and complete spraying outwards to provide total nematode coverage. Agitate spraying solution often during application because nematodes will sink to the bottom of the bottle.

Step 8
Keep lawn moist for the next 3 days (or 1 week in dry weather) to ensure nematodes are flushed into the turf canopy where grubs are present.

Frequently asked questions about Wilson Nematode Sprayer

It is designed specifically for broadcasting the live nematodes onto the problem areas. Open the globe and plastic bag. Remove the pouches. Do not tear open the pouches, let them soak in the water. You activate the nematodes from their dormant state by adding 2.5 cm (1 inch) of warm water, and then fill the sprayer with room temperature water. Fasten the lid, and agitate the sprayer to disperse the nematodes through the pouch mesh and release them into the water. Attach the sprayer to your garden hose, and proceed to cover your problem area with nematodes. Continue agitation while spraying. It takes 7-10 minutes to empty the sprayer. Works best when you apply during rainfall, otherwise, water areas to be treated before and after application.

The Wilson Nematode Sprayer can be re-used for years, over and over again for any of the Wilson nematodes.

When the spraying is completed, and the sprayer is empty, open the lid and remove the leftover pouches. Rinse the sprayer and store for use later. Always rinse out before reusing.
